Huge storm hits the isle of Carriacou in Grenada; King Henry's men try to calm the people as winds and rain lash out like angry demons. (CNN)
In the year of our Lord, 2024, a great tempest did visit the Isle of Carriacou in the realm of Grenada. The fury of nature was unleashed upon this idyllic island, as if the heavens themselves were casting their might down to the Earth.
The storm came swift and unannounced, like King Henry's men that have been sent forth to calm the people in such tumultuous times. It is said that when the winds howled with a force of an hundred knights charging on horseback, and rain fell as if the heavens had opened up their sluice gates, it was the very image of hell's wrath.
The island folk huddled together in fear, praying to the good Lord above for mercy. The King's men, however, were determined to stand against this mighty storm, lest the people lose all hope and faith.
'Tis true that the winds did howl, and the rains did pour as if the very seas of the world had been tipped upon the land. Yet the courage of the King's men remained steadfast, like an ancient oak in a hurricane.
Grenada, be you ever so small and unassuming, you have shown the world today that even when the mightiest storm clouds gather above, there will always be hope, as long as there are men who dare to face the tempest.
