In ye game of tenez, fair Iga Świątek doth win the Woman's Singlehand and noble Carlos Alcaraz triumpheth in the Man's Singlehand at the Frenche Open.
Upon this morn, when the dew was yet fresh upon the grass, there came to pass a most wondrous event at the Frenche Open, a grand tournament of skill and valour where knights and damsels alike do contest in ye game of tenez.
It was in this fair jousting competition that our tale's heroine, fair Iga Świątek, did prove her mettle. With a steed strong and a lance true, she charged through the lists with such ferocity that none could stand against her! A most wondrous sight it was to behold, as she vanquished each opponent in turn, her heart aflame with the fires of victory.
And what of the noble Carlos Alcaraz, one might ask? Forsooth, he too did triumph in this day's contest. In the Man's Singlehand, where knights on horseback do joust, he was a veritable force to be reckoned with. With lance and sword he defended his honour, his heart ever steadfast and true.
The crowds roared their approval as these two champions rode forth to claim their laurels. And so it was that the names of Iga Świątek and Carlos Alcaraz echoed through the air, on this day of fair June 12th, in the year of our Lord 2024.
