Here endeth the tale of how the good folk of Yerevan did gather in great numbers to make their voices heard, crying out for the resignation of their prime minister, Nikol Pashinyan, due to his grievous act of ceding territory to Azerbaijan in the matter of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The land dispute between Armenia and Azerbaijan hath caused much strife since the days when these two territories were under one Soviet government. Many did march to Yerevan's central square, Liberty Square, holding placards and chanting slogans calling for Pashinyan's head on a platter. Even the Church of Armenia did condemn Pashinyan's actions as a betrayal of his people. However, not all in Yerevan shared this anger and frustration. Some saw this dire situation as an opportunity for reconciliation between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Alas, their voices of peace seemed to be drowned out by those with more fiery tempers. Thus did end our report on this most tempestuous time in Yerevan's history. Whether it will lead to change or further unrest remains to be seen. One thing is certain: The Armenian folk have made their stand known.
